Monitor the status of your jobs, filter the job view, view job details, monitor memory and core utilization, view
a list of job files, or perform job actions.
Two roles are available by default: Manager and Operator. Add additional roles per
your site's needs.
When a role is given Monitor Viewer or Monitor Admin privileges, you have the option
to assign clusters to the role. Any users assigned that role will automatically be
given Monitoring access to those clusters.
Click the Configure tab.
Click Roles from the Access Management menu located on
the left-hand side of the web page.
Click Add Role.
A role is created with a default role name and undefined
privileges.
Click
located to the right of the name of the role.
For Role Name, enter a name that describes the role.
Click OK.
Choose the privileges to give to this role by clicking located to the right of the privilege.
Privileges are not mutually exclusive, so you may assign more than one.
When Monitor Viewer or Monitor Admin are chosen, optionally click
to assign clusters to the role.
Select a cluster by enabling the checkbox next to its name.
You may select more than one cluster.
Click OK.
Any users assigned to this role will automatically get access to
this cluster to monitor jobs and nodes. The following notification is
displayed to any of those users who are currently logged into Access Web: Your view is updated to reflect changes
in the CLUSTER privileges where
CLUSTER is the name of the cluster.
