New Features

Configuration Management
New feature to create configurations and assign modules to the configuration which are unique to that configuration. All of the common and unique modules along with connections in a specific configuration are loaded in the session when a particular configuration is selected. The Analysis Manager is enhanced to create and manage configuration specific loadcases. This feature allows you to easily generate and maintain different model variants with a user-friendly interface, and direct interaction with other features like the Analysis Manager and network view.
E-Motor NVH Post-Processing
New feature in Order Cut Analysis utility to plot the waterfall diagram and perform order cut analysis of electro-magnetic forces acting on stator teeth of an e-motor. There are also advanced options to display force vector animations and distribution across stator teeth for these electro-magnetic forces. This allows you to characterize e-motor loadcases with respect to critical frequencies, order contents and magnitude of excitations for further diagnostics of critical e-motor NVH responses.
Mounts Optimization
New feature for optimizing the mount stiffness and layout configuration for decoupling powertrain rigid body modes and reduce vibration transmission. This allows for easy creation and submission of optimization set-up by defining objective of decoupling rigid body modes, creating constraints for rigid body mode frequencies and specifying design space for variables in terms of mount stiffness, locations and inclinations.

Significant performance improvement in the assembly XML import resulting from improvements in template import performance.
Performance improvement in on-the-fly diagnostics computation
Significant performance improvement in on-the-fly-diagnostics calculation of modal contributions, panel participation and transfer path analysis for standard loadcases of road inputs and powertrain inputs.

Resolved Issues

  • Issue related to modified MAC calculation.
  • Issue in node pairing with selected node sets for MAC calculation.
  • Issue in export of identified nodes in UNV files from FRAC utility.
  • Issue in Packing the Assembly model with tire models not specified in the Tire Patch Points Manager.
