Modeling
Possibility to define wall model variants and to assign them per part
ultraFluidX 2020.1 introduces the possibility to define different wall model variants. A variant contains all wall modeling-related parameters and can be assigned on a per-part basis via the input deck.
Output
Optional output of accumulated forces and moments in SI units
ultraFluidX 2020.1 introduces an optional output of forces and moments in SI units, in addition to the nondimensional aerodynamic coefficient output. The output is available for the accumulated aerodynamic forces and moments as well as the aerodynamic forces and moments per part.

  • Potentially incorrect assignment of boundary conditions in local refinement regions
  • Surface normal not updated in rotating overset mesh regions
  • Potentially erroneous mapping of inverted baffle triangles
  • Synchronization issue between different output types in rotating overset mesh regions
  • Missing data in parts of a monitoring surface for specific configurations
  • Erroneous creation of fluid nodes attached to baffle parts in local refinement zones
