Change the Display of an Undeformed Shape

The following options are automatically applied to the model as you enter information.
  1. From the Deformed panel, under Undeformed shape, select a display option using the drop-down menu.
    Option Description
    None None of the undeformed shape is shown.
    Wireframe Displays the undeformed shape as a wireframe.
    Edges Displays the edges of the undeformed shape.
    Features Displays feature lines on the undeformed shape.
  2. Select a color option from the drop-down menu.
    Option Description
    Component Default colors are automatically applied to the undeformed shape.
    Mesh Lines Default colors are automatically applied to the undeformed shape.
    User You can click the color button and select a different color from the color palette for the undeformed shape.
  3. Optional: Activate the Move with tracking system check box.
    Attention: This option will only be enabled if a tracking system for the deformed shape has been activated in the Tracking panel.
    The undeformed shape moves with the deformed shape, allowing you to compare the two.
    Tip: This is useful when you are using a transient simulation.
