Use the FLD tool a plot a Forming Limit Diagram (FLD) based on a material Forming Limit Curve (FLC) and the major and
minor strain output results of a forming simulation.
The Apply Style options dialog allows you to select and apply display attributes of the active model in the current window
to all models available in the current window, the current page, all pages, or selected HyperView windows in the session.
The Extract Solver Deck Assemblies tool allows you to import a HyperMesh exported input deck and extract the HyperMesh commands HMNAME, HMCOLOR, and HMASSEM.
The Generate PSM for MADYMO function allows you to save analysis results of nodes as a PSM (Prescribed Structural Motion)
file. Displacement results from any animation can be exported as a PSM file.
The RAD2NOISE dialog in the utilities page allows you to create an input file based on your inputs. This input file can
be used to run the RAD2NOISE solver in batch mode.
The Tools menu Import option allows you to access sub-menu options and dialogs for plot
styles, sets, and views.
Import Plot Styles
The Import Plot Styles feature allows you to import an XML
file containing previously saved plot styles.
From the Tools menu, select Import > Plot Styles.
The Import Styles dialog is displayed.
Use the Look in drop-down menu to browse to the desired
.xml file.
Click on the desired file and click Open.
A message log window will appear confirming that the file has been
imported.
Click Close to exit the message log window.
Import Sets
The Import Sets option allows you to import HyperView set (group) definition files, Animator3 session files,
LSPost group files, or Patran session files.
From the Tools menu, select Import > Sets.
You are automatically taken to the Set panel, and the Import Sets dialog
is displayed.
Note: You can also access the Import Sets dialog by clicking
Import in the Set panel.
From the Select format drop-down menu, select a file type.
HyperView group definition file
Animator3 session file
LSPost group file
Patran session file
Under File name, click the open folder icon and browse to the desired file
which contains defined sets (groups).
Click Open.
Click OK to close the dialog.
HyperView extracts all defined sets (groups)
in the selected session file.
The HyperView groups, Animator3 groups, or
LSPost groups are listed in the Groups list.
By default, the visibility of each imported group is turned off.
Import Views
The Import Views option allows you to import a
.txt file containing previously saved plot views.
From the Tools menu, select Import > Views.
The Import Views dialog is displayed.
Use the Look in drop-down menu to browse to the desired
.txt file.
Click on the desired file and click Open.
A message log window will appear confirming that the file has been
imported.
