Use the Suppress Edges tool to suppress or unsuppress edges individually or by break angle.

Note: This feature is not supported for a model with discrete geometry.
  1. From the Geometry ribbon, Edit tools, click the Suppress Edges tool.

  2. Suppress or unsuppress edges in the following ways:
    • Left-click on a surface edge to advance its topology state from shared to suppressed. Conversely, hold Shift while left-clicking to regress its topology state from suppressed to shared.
    • Select the surface(s) to suppress, enter a value in the microdialog to adjust the feature edge, then click to suppress all selected surface edges.

Suppress none of the selected surfaces by clicking .

Tip:
  • Use window selection to simultaneously select multiple surfaces.
  • Use the legend in the upper-left corner of the modeling window to assist you in finding edges. Edges are color coded by type. Show and hide an edge type by toggling its corresponding checkbox on and off, or quickly isolate an edge type by clicking Only.
