Capture Session

This module allows you to capture the content of all pages and windows in the HyperWorks session and export a Word or PowerPoint report with a single operation. Capture session module refers to the Session Browser page selecion for image capture.

Capture Session automatically selects the output image format based on the Session Browser Publish Format. The table below provides more details for the image formats:

Adding a Capture Session Module

1. In Word mode, navigate to Report/Chapter > Add > Modules > Capture Session. Or, in PPT mode, navigate to Report > Add > Modules > Capture Session.

2. The Name property is associated with the Capture Session module. You can edit this value.
3. Right-click on the Capture Session module and click Execute.

   Word Session

   Individual chapter is created for every page. If there are multiple windows in the page, multiple images are added under the same chapter.

   PowerPoint Session

   Individual slide is created for every page. If there are multiple windows in the page, a layout with multiple image placeholders is selected.

   Image Caption

   Captured images are captioned based on the window number in the session layout.

   You can also edit the image caption property for the captured images.
