Import Design Study Geometry from SolidWorks

Use geometry from SolidWorks in a SimSolid design study.

1. Start SolidWorks and make sure the SimSolid add-in is activated.

2. In the SimSolid add-in tab, click the (Open in SimSolid) button.
   This will transfer the current active assembly to SimSolid.

   Note: You can easily mix and match between different CAD sources. One SimSolid Project can have CAD data from Onshape, SolidWorks, or any other supported CAD format.
