Create and edit a 2D sketch curve, and then extrude it to create 3D solid geometry. A sketch curve is any "wire" entity
such as a line, rectangle, circle, or arc.
A part instance creates a copy of the part that is linked to the original part. When the original part is updated,
the instance is automatically updated as well.
Use the Patch, Push/Pull, Partition, and other core geometry tools to modify surfaces
and solids.
Patch
Use the Patch tool to fill in missing surfaces, or to remove and remake bad or problematic surfaces.
Push/Pull Faces
Push and pull a face, line, or 2D edge to extrude it into a solid or surface, create or resize a hole, eliminate rounds, or modify wall thickness.
Move Faces
Translate, rotate, copy, or extend features.
Mirror Parts
Mirror parts across a symmetry plane.
Scale Parts
Resize parts in your model, which is useful when working with an imported model that is associated with a different default unit system.
Boolean Parts
Create a new part by using one set of solids to edit another set of solids.
Cut Parts
Cut a set of solid objects with a cutting plane.
Simplify Geometry
Clean up problem areas in the geometry of a model before running an analysis.
Partition Parts
Divide a solid part into design and non-design regions by selecting a hole, pocket, or face to offset.
Midsurface
Extract the midsurface or side faces of thin solids. For surfaces, determine where the surface is represented by defining a thicknes direction.
Fillet Edges
Round edges to create fillets with a constant radius.
