About Templates

A template is an ASCII text file containing plain text, Templex statements, mathematical expressions, constants, and variables that Templex processes.

The output text from a template can be sent to another file, to your monitor, or to other output streams. Templates usually contain at least one Templex statement or expression. They can be created using any text editor or word processor that can save a file in ASCII format.
