Activate/Deactivate Constraints
By default, all constraints are made active in the active exploration when they are created. Make a constraint inactive so that it is no longer used in the active exploration.
Reducing the number of independent constraints can reduce the number of runs required in an Optimization exploration.
Constraints are relative to an exploration.
Deactivate constraints in the following ways:
- In the Design Explorer Browser, Enabled column, check or uncheck the constraint's corresponding checkbox.
- Click the Constraints tool satellite icon . In the Constraints dialog, Summary tab, check or uncheck the constraint's corresponding checkbox.
- Click the Explorations tool satellite icon . In the Constraints dialog, Summary tab, check or uncheck the constraint's corresponding checkbox.
