Finding and replacing blocks

Using the Find and Replace commands, you can search the current diagram for certain types of blocks (for example, ramp, stripChart, and const blocks) or for certain occurrences of blocks with user-defined names, labels, and text strings. You can also use the Find toolbar command to find blocks in your diagram.

Once you find the block you’re looking for, you can make the appropriate changes to it. Embed searches the entire diagram for the search item, regardless of your current location in the diagram.

The Find command and Find toolbar command also let you find blocks in the Blocks Browser.

Use the Find in Diagrams and Replace in Diagrams commands to expand your search to multiple diagrams.
