Create Objectives

Use the Objectives tool to create optimization objectives from existing responses.

1. Do one of the following:
   • From the Design Explorer ribbon, Goals tools, click the Objectives tool.

   • Click the Objectives tool satellite icon . In the Objectives dialog, click .
2. On the guide bar, click .
   The Advanced Selection dialog opens.
3. Select an existing response in the dialog then click OK.
   The objective is added to the Design Explorer Browser.
4. In the microdialog,
   1. Optional: Rename the objective.
   2. Select an objective type from the drop-down menu.
