Adjust

Use the Adjust tool to automatically shrink or expand to fit PolyNURBS cages to an optimized shape.

Location: PolyNURBS ribbon
  1. Click the Adjust icon.
  2. Choose from the following options:
    • To adjust parts, click Parts on the guide bar, and then click the PolyNURBS parts.
    • To adjust cage points, click Cage Points on the guide bar, and then box select or hold down Ctrl while clicking the cage points.
  3. Click the Adjust button on the guidebar. Clicking the Adjust button repeatedly will produce a progressively closer fit.
  4. Right-click and mouse through the check mark to exit, or double-right-click.
Tip: Cage points provide local control over the adjustment. The more control points the PolyNURBS has, the closer it will fit the part.
