Change the Display Options

You can change the appearance of a section cut by using the following Display options.

  1. From the View Controls toolbar, click .
  2. In the Section Cuts panel, use the following options to set the display.
    Option Description
    Cross Section Display a cross section of the section cut.
    Width slider bar Adjust the width of the cross section.
    Clipping plane Display the side of the model opposite to where the section cut was applied.
    Clip elements Display the elements of the clipped part of the model.
    Section color Change the section cut color by activating the check box and clicking on the color box.
    Reverse Display the reverse side of the model.
  3. Click Gridline to display the Gridline Options dialog, which allows you to determine the grid line display options for the graphical manipulator.
  4. Use the Grid text options to control the display of the grid line text value in the modeling window.
    Option Description
    Show Display the grid line text value in the modeling window.
    Precision Use the arrows to increment the current grid line text value from 0 to 10 decimal points.
  5. Use the Grid line options to control the display of the grid line grid in the modeling window.
    Option Description
    Show Display the grid line grid in the modeling window
    SpacingXY Change the position of the graphical manipulator on the grid line grid.
  6. Click Apply.
