Create Force Responses

Use the Force tool to create force responses from 1D elements or constraints.

1. Do one of the following:
   • From the Design Explorer ribbon, click the Force tool.

   • Click the Force tool satellite icon . In the Responses dialog, click .
2. Click the guide bar selector and choose whether to create the response using 1D Elements or Loads.
3. Select one or more entities.
   Selecting the first entity will create a response and add it to the Design Explorer Browser.
4. Optional: Make any desired modifications to the created response in the microdialog.
