Background Color
By default, the video window background is black. This window can be set
to any color. On printouts, the background is always white.
Blank out tolerance
If Blank out tolerance is selected, the video frame is only displayed if
the difference between the time of the current frame and the time of the
page is less than the tolerance.
If Blank out tolerance is not selected, the current video frame is
always displayed.
Video Enhancements
The following settings can be edited to enhance your video file. Enter a
value directly into the data field or use the slider bar to change the
value.
Note: Significant processing power is required to perform video
enhancement operations such as brightness, contrast, gamma
correction, and edge enhancement. Depending on the resolution of
your video, you may notice a performance decrease when these
enhancements are active. Of the video enhancement operations, Edge
Enhancement is the most CPU-intensive and Gamma correction is the
least CPU-intensive.
- Brightness
- Change the brightness of your media file.
- Contrast
- Adjust the contrast to see the difference between the
lightest and darkest parts of the media file.
- Gamma
- Gamma refers to the degree of contrast in your media file.
Enter a value or drag the slider to set the brightness of
mid-tones without affecting highlights and shadows.
- Edge Enhancements
- When selected, this option finds and displays the edges in
the media file.
