Optimization Keyword This manual contains the description of the keywords for the Radioss optimization. This manual is compatible with the version 2018 of Radioss.
Optimization Keyword Defines a response or a set of responses that are a result of a design analysis iteration. These responses can be
used to drive the optimization process and are a measure of how a model performs under a set of constraints,
boundary conditions and loading. They can be used as a design objective or as design constraints.
Optimization Keyword When a desired response is not directly available from OptiStruct, it may be calculated using /DRESP2. This response can be a functional combination of any set of responses resulting from the design analysis iteration.
Responses defined in this manner can be used as design objectives or constraints.
Optimization Keyword This keyword can be used to select a response as the objective function of an optimization run by selecting a response
as the objective function. The selected response can either be minimized or maximized based on the inputs
specified on this keyword.
