Solver interfaces supported in HyperWorks.
A solver interface is made up of a template and a FE-input reader.
Perform automatic checks on CAD models, and identify potential issues with geometry that may slow down the meshing process using the Verification and Comparison tools.
Create, organize, and manage the CAE parts.
Create, edit, and cleanup geometry.
Learn about the different types of mesh you can create in HyperWorks.
Create and edit 0D/1D entities and edit 2D elements.
Create, review, and edit RBE2/RBE3 elements and MPC equations.
HyperMesh composites and tools.
Tools used for crash and safety analysis.
Multi-disciplinary design exploration and optimization tools.
Many essential utility tools using HyperWorks-Tcl have been developed over the years to support Aerospace customers. A few tools have been collected and upgraded to be compatible with this release.
Create an assembly structure from a .csv file definition.
The results post-processing workflow is now embedded in HyperMesh, and you can seamlessly process solver native results in HyperMesh. The File Loader is used to generate the new results entity.
Use the Matrix Browser to explore the HyperMesh and HyperView data entities and export the entities to external files for further analysis.
Enables exploring the element force and moment results (internal loads) from solver result files (grid point forces) for further component sizing/optimization tasks and also for component certification/margin calculation.
Calculate free-body forces, moments, displacements and rotation.
Calculate the contribution of one or more elements to the force and moment equilibrium at desired nodes.
Define visualization options for the free-body plot.
Plot free-body forces and moments for the selected loadcase.
The FBD Forces tool can import or export one or more cross-sections using the .csv file format.
The FBD Forces tool can export one or more cross-sections using Nastran’s Monitor Point 3 Format (.bdf file).
Plot displacements and rotations at nodes.
Define a cross-section plane.
Display free-body forces and moments at each cross-section along a node path.
Potato plots are used to build load envelopes. VMT plots are used to build tensile, shear and bending moment diagrams.
Display normal and shear loads of panel structural members.
Display forces and moments acting on beam and bar elements.
In Nastran, the F06 file contains information related either to the diagnostic of the model, analysis check up and results. This tool enables you to parse a defined number of information blocks and store them as a HyperMesh table entity with a given name.
Use this tool to evaluate for the selected elements the average value of the selected result type.
Framework to plug certification methods inside HyperWorks to assess margin of safety from the model and result information.
Use marine tools to create a stiffener mesh.
Panels contains pre-processing and post-processing tools.
