Create Mass and Volume Responses

Use the Mass/Volume tool to create mass or volume responses. The resulting response is the mass or volume of the entire model.

1. Do one of the following:
   • From the Design Explorer ribbon, Responses tools, click the Mass/Volume tool.

   • Click the Mass/Volume tool satellite icon . In the Responses dialog, click .
2. Use the drop-down menu on the left side of the guide bar to select the response type.
3. Click Create.
   The response is added to the Design Explorer Browser.
4. Use the microdialog to rename the response.
