Remove Small Features

Use the Defeature: Small Features tool to find and remove/fix small solids and surfaces.

1. From the Geometry ribbon, Cleanup tools, click Defeature > Small Features.

2. From the guide bar selector, choose the target type for small feature detection.
3. Optional: On the guide bar, click to define feature detection size or cleanup tolerance.
4. On the guide bar, click Find to detect small features in the modeling window.
5. Review each found/selected cavity by clicking and on the guide bar.
6. Remove/fix small features in the following ways:
   • Click Remove All to remove all small features.

     For small surface features, click Fix All.

   • Fix/remove individual small features by left-clicking.
