Create a Plot from a Completed Job

You can create and visualize plots from the result files of a completed job.

The result files are accessible from the Files and Jobs tab.

The job result files that is saved in Job ID folder are stored under the Files tab in the same location where the input files are placed. Hence, the results files are available from both the tabs to visualise.

  1. Click Jobs located in the top left-corner of the page.
    Your jobs list is displayed.
  2. Select a completed job.
    The job Output tab is displayed.
    Note: The result files of a completed job is listed under Output tab.
  3. Right-click a file and then click Open With > Plot TOC.

  4. Optional: Click Subcase and select the required load case.
    Note: Choosing the Subcase is optional. By default, the first entry in the subcase list is considered for a plot.
  5. Click Simulation to select simulation query.

  6. Select the following in the Simulation Query:
    • Select Filter
    • Select Start, End, and Step values.
    • Click Refresh link, to view the list of Time Steps.
    Note: Setting the Simulation Query is optional. By default, all the listed simulations in the Simulation Query is considered for a plot.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Click located to the right of X-Axis.
  9. Choose the X-Axis parameters.
    Note: Time is chosen as the default value.
  10. Click located to the right of the Y-axis to select the parameters for the plot.
  11. Select the required parameters from the Result Type, Request and Component sections.

  12. Click OK.
    The selected variables for the X and Y axes of the plot displays on closing the selection dialog.
  13. Click Plot.
    The plot result is displayed for the selected parameters.

    Note: The Back link takes you back to the Table of Contents for Plot screen where you can modify X and Y axis parameters for a plot.
