Align Midmesh

Use the Midmesh: Align tool to align the midmesh.

  1. From the Mesh ribbon, 2D Mesh tools, click Midmesh > Align tool.

  2. Optional: On the guide bar, click to define alignment options.
  3. Align midmesh.
    To align Do this
    Face to surface
    1. Set the Source selector to Elements, then select elements.
      • Select 2D elements to align face to surface.
      • Select 1D elements to align edge to surface.
        Restriction: Only T-edge 1D elements can be selected.
    2. Use the Target selector to select surfaces to align to.
    3. Click Align.
    Node to lines
    1. Set the Source selector to Node List, then select nodes.
    2. Use the Target selector to select lines to align to.
    3. Click Align.

Go to Mesh > Midmesh > Align.

Use offset distance when aligning faces.
