    • Supported Files in HyperGraph 2D

      HyperGraph 2D can read the following types of plot data files:

    • User Interface

      The user interface provides you with a consistent look and feel when you are working in any of the HyperWorks Desktop applications.

      • HyperGraph 2D Menus

        The HyperGraph 2D menus provide quick access to panels and tools.

        • Plot Types

          From this menu, select one of four plot types: XY Plot, Bar Chart, Complex Plot, or Polar Plot. XY Plot is the default plot type.

        • Curves

          The Curves menu allows you quick access to commonly used panels and tools. The Curves menu options change, depending on the selected plot type (XY Plot, Bar Chart, Polar Plot, and Complex Plot).

        • Annotations

          The Annotations menu provides quick access to the Axes, Legends, Headers and Footers, and Notes panels. The panels available on the Annotations menu are the same for all plot type options.

        • Tools

          From the Tools menu, you can access panels to plot statistics and retrieve individual point data.

          • Replace Filenames

            Replace Filenames overwrites one plot data file with another plot data file in HyperGraph 2D windows.

          • Templex Functions

            Allows you to create and edit Templex functions.

          • Readers, Writers, and Functions

            Register import templates, external readers, external functions, and export templates in the current session or add them to the current preferences.mvw file.

            • External Readers

              The HyperGraph 2D external readers read both binary and text files.

              DAC files can be imported to and exported from HyperGraph 2D.

          • Apply Style

            Select and apply attributes of the current plot to either every plot on every page or to every plot on the current page.

          • Templex Curve Names

            Within HyperWorks Desktop, Templex metadata can be used at any time.

          • Tag Curves with Metadata

          • Free Body Diagrams

            Create Shear-Moment-Torque (VMT) or Potato plots for subcase screening.

          • RAD2NOISE

            Use the RAD2NOISE dialog to create an input file based on your inputs.

          • Synchronize Window Animation in HyperGraph 2D

            Synchronize windows that contain animation results in different units and/or begin at different time steps.

        • Preferences

          From the Preferences menu, you can define file export settings and access the Options panel.

        • HyperGraph 2D Context Sensitive Menus

          From the HyperGraph 2D modeling window, right-click to display the HyperGraph 2D context-sensitive menu.

      • HyperGraph 2D Toolbars

        The HyperGraph 2D toolbars provide quick access to commonly used panels and tools.

      • Tab Area

        The Tab Area is the portion of the graphical user interface that contains the browsers, utilities, and other functionality not shown in the panel area.

      • Plot Browser

        The HyperGraph 2D Plot Browser is located in the tab area sidebar and allows you to view the HyperGraph 2D plot structure.

      • NVH

        From the HyperGraph 2D NVH menu, the following options are available.

      • Vehicle Safety Tools

        The Vehicle Safety Tools (VST) is a collection of over 200 macros, Templex functions, and external functions for use by a vehicle safety engineer.

      • Model Identification Tool

        The Model Identification Tool, known as MIT, is a profile in HyperGraph 2D for fitting test data from frequency- and amplitude-dependent bushings to analytical models.

  • Tutorials

    Discover HyperGraph 2D and HyperGraph 3D functionality with interactive tutorials.

  • HyperGraph 2D

    Powerful data analysis and plotting tool for all types of CAE data.

  • HyperGraph 3D

    HyperGraph 3D offers a 3-D plotting environment that is fully integrated with HyperWorks, for managing, reviewing, and analyzing 3-D plots such as waterfall, surface, and 3-D line data.

  • HyperGraph Solver Interfacing

    The following sections describe support for various solvers in HyperGraph.
